Additional Comments: Laura Allen, who played Brooke English's daughter years ago, is cast as the wife of the main character on Awake in one of his alternate realities. If you haven't seen the show it is quite intriguing. Which of his lives is the real one?

Thank you for the post! I watched Awake and thoroughly enjoyed it, but kept wondering where I had seen the actress who plays the wife before. Thank you for identifying her for me. The minute I read your post, I thought yes, thats it, she was Laura on my sorely missed AMC!

I miss AMC, too, but it is fun to see some of the actors on other shows--Lucci on 'Hot in Cleveland' was hilarious during her last guest appearance./U

I like the ''Lost'' touches and want to find out if world with his wife or world with his son is the real one./U

U: It is precisely the 'Lost' like style of the show that I find a turnoff. 'Lost' was never my cup of tea. eom

Thanks for the info! I actually watched Episode 1 of Awake and enjoyed it very much. I didn't even realize it was Laura Allen (a.k.a. "Laura English") playing the wife, so that's an interesting bit of trivia. It's always nice to see AMC alumni turning up on other shows, especially shows that I like a lot.
