Betty White is wonderful, I have never seen her in anything that she wasn't great, I saw a rerun of My Name is Earl and she played a crazy lady. I loved her in Lake Placid, one of my favorite shows now is Hot in Cleveland, all the stars are good, but Betty White makes it even better. Happy Birthday to a great lady.

Happy birthday Betty!

And if anyone's interested, on the MeTV cable channel tomorrow (Tuesday) night, there will be three Sue Ann Nivens episodes of the Mary Tyler Moore Show.

I think Sue Ann was my favorite Betty White character.

  • Mine too. She had great lines, scenes and physical comedy. eom/WE
  • I remember she once told Mary how to clean up after a party. Like a clock..start at 12:00 and go around the room. It works. Anita Lyfe eom
  • I loved her as Sue Ann Nivens. Remember how, on her 'cooking show,' she used to close the oven door with her foot?! And then there was that time when she lured Lou Grant into her bedroom ---he really, REALLY didn't want to be there!----and showed him her rotating bed and the mirrored ceiling. Betty White was always a hoot in that role! She has done a lot of funny stuff since but Sue Ann Nivens will always be my favorite Betty White character. Understatement
  • She once closed the door (high oven) by popping it with her knee. I remember her show was up against Macrame Matinee (lol). She woke Mary at 3 in the morning and when Mary said I was asleep she replied good then you're alone. So many wonderful moments. eom/WE
