Additional Comments: There has been a death in my family. My second cousin suffered a massive heart attack on Sunday. He was 47. He leaves behind a wife and two teenaged daughters.
We'll be driving down to the Cleveland area in Ohio on Thursday to attend the funeral on Friday. We will stay through until Sunday. His mother, my first cousin once removed, is devastated. She and her now ex-husband also buried a daughter 46 years ago when she was born with spina bifida and died within months. They are left with one daughter. Please remember my cousin in your prayers. Her name is Marie. I also ask for safe travelling prayers for valleyguy and I. Thank you.

Message: Thank you to each and every one of you for your condolences and words of comfort and care.
We have decided to leave tonight, in a few hours actually, and spend the night in a hotel just this side of the border. This will cut between 2-3 hours off of our trip tomorrow, enabling us to make it in time for the viewing tomorrow. As some of you have mentioned, the weather can be of special consideration this time of year, so we want to take our time so that we get there safely. We will be staying in the home of Marie's sister, Joanne. I spoke to her this morning and she said that Marie is staying with her at present, and is holding things together at this point. Michael's wife, Denise, has gone quiet from her earlier hysteria. I would imagine she is in shock. I've always felt this shock is a blessing which enables us to get through the things that need to be done. I don't know how his 16 and 17 year old daughters are, but they are probably in much the same state as their mother.
Thank you, once again for all that you do. This board is a haven in times of need.
