Thanks friends for the birthday wishes. Haven't been to chat here much lately. Most of you know Mr. Adam had that rotator cuff outpatient surgery in November. He came thru with flying colors but about 4 days afterwards I had to go to ER with 105' temp and a terrible neck/head ache. I spent 3 days in the hospital being tested for numerous things including viral meningitis. Docs came to the conclusion that I had a viral infection of some kind. Then 2 days after I got home had to take Adam to doc for some strange symptons. He had all the symptoms of hepatitis. The poor fella was yellow! After lots of tests, it was determined he also had a viral infection of the liver. We spent alot of December recouping and stayed low-key. We both picked up sinus infections during the holidays and there was another round of meds for us. We decided that we were ready for a new year!
We are both better now so were able to get back to work but geez we are tired in the evenings. Here's to a great 2012 for all of us.

Message: You've had a rough start to the New Year. Mine has been hard as well. My husband, Eli, went into the hospital on Christmas and he's first getting out today (1/20). He got a Staff infection from somewhere, pneumonia and a heart attack. Hope all will turn around and we'll all have better scenarios in the new year.

Eve, I'm sorry you had such a rough time these past couple of months. I recall our hubbies had their surgery on the same day . . . my husband had a much easier recouperation. He still has pain now and then, but less severe and less frequently than beflore.
Did the docs determine if you had the same virus causing your infections? Or was it just a coincidence that you each caught a different bug at about the same time?
