The prayers are not for me or Bitt - they are for my dear friend {{{Joanie}}}. She owns the condo on the shore and we do special Olympics together. We've been friends for over 3 decades. Knowing what we were going through the last few months she waited to tell me she has lung cancer.
She's going through chemo and radiation. So far she hasn't had any side effects but her doctor said this has a 20% chance of success. It's inoperable but hopefully if it doesn't succeed it may shrink the cluster so they can operate. Another possibility is remission. She has long hair and will lose it all.
Her parents have always been my other mom and dad. They are 90 and 93 (I adore them) and so far they will not be told as we PRAY for the best result.
She has the kindest heart and soul, works tirelessly for her church and our specials.
I know I've asked a lot the last few months but we know prayer is strong and powerful.
I've always gotten the best support here and trust I will once again for {{{Joanie}}}. Thank you!

Aww, W.E., I can't tell you how sorry I am. I have heard so much about Joanie over the years that I feel as though I know her. She is a good, kind, warm and loving soul, much like you. I know your heart and your history are deeply entwined with hers and that this is causing you immense pain. Of course Joanie has my prayers, as do you. Lean on your faith during this trial. The Lord is with you.

Definitely sending prayers. I am a cancer survivor and went through chemo. I know how frightening and scary it is. I will be praying for her and you - it is hard to see friends and people you love go through something like that.
