I remember when Maura won the Emmy last year, the first thing she said was how glad she was that Michael Park had won and that would have been enough. She, too, comes across as someone totally opposite her character. I have not read anything official that she is out on Y&R but they are promising a dramatic exit in the upcoming spoilers.

You may not have liked Janet, but Julie Pinson isn't her character. I've seen several interviews w/JP & she seems like a very nice, genuine, sweet person. Nothing like most of the characters she has played on soaps. I always felt bad for her being saddled w/the role of Janet on ATWT. There were SO many other, better, ways the character should have been written.

I read somewhere that Julie Pinson didn't even like the character ''Janet.'' I can't recall the publication, but I remember Pinson saying that she disagreed with Janet's behavior especially during Liberty's pregnancy. (eom) Mandi
That's why it's a good thing she's an actress! LOL Seriously, I wonder how many soap actors could possibly like or approve of what their characters do most of the time? eom/D
If there is any truth to the rumor once posted here that Pinson auditioned for the role of Lily, I wonder what she would have been like in that role. Could have been interesting....(eom) Mandi
