Additional Comments: Hensley. He plays a country vetenarian and all-around good guy. The actor they've got is currently being paired with Sharon Newman[Sharon Case], who he has no chemistry with. Do you remember how hot Holden Snyder was when he was first cast and paired with Lily? Ah, the good old days. I've read that he's a stock day-trader, so I hope he's making money.
I don't think JH could play Sam at all. The only time to me that JH was worth his salt, was when he first came on, and he just stood there looking sultry. The first day he started opening his mouth he was in trouble! fee
Lynda, You like me will never stop missing ATWT.I have tried to watch Y&R but I can't get into it.i watch B&B now and then but the stories are so poorly written.maybe one day we'll wake up one day and the cancellation and lousy ATWT ending was all a nightmare and they'll continue before Reid died and we'll have our soap back!I do miss it and think I always will!

Message: Oh you are absolutely right! I don't really like this guy playing Sam. He would be good in Hallmark feel-good movie.. but not on Y & R. There is a virtual treasure trove of out of work soap actors and this is who they picked?! I don't think the current casting director has been very capable with the exception of Abby. (Personally, I like nuMalcom but realize I am in the minority.)
Lynda, I just finished watching yesterday's episode ...... and a thought came to me that this guy Sam (the actor is sooooo extremely sexy by the way) .... with his gravelly voice, with words coming out that are so not recognizable or audibly clear, reminds me too much like Tucker.....and that perhaps he may be Tucker's long lost son..... If that be the case, he'd be a long-haul player on Y&R and JH, I'm sure, if in the role, would require a higher salary. (JH has a longer standing career than this new/unused actor.) Casting JH would have been swell, though, and probably brought in an untold number of fans.
Maura is outdoing herself, she's been marvelous these last few episodes and no longer is stone-like when performing. Her beauty is jumping out with this latest hair style and that well suited turquoise dress. Her face has become completely animated, quite full of newly developed expressions and movements. Bully for her.
