Additional Comments: I have vented my frustration at losing ATWT in a most unusual way...I was asked to review a state legislative candidate's petition signatures...He needed 1,500 signatures...he filed 1,704 signatures...I objected to 722 signatures. Well, tonight, I heard from the State Board of Elections...they sustained 632 of my 722 signatures...an incredible 7 out of every 8 signatures I objected to were ruled invalid. My local reputation as 'The Ballot Terminator' remains intact!

Message: I've been meaning to tell you for several years now that, in the day, Edge of Night was my favorite soap. It is the first one that I recall ever being canceled, due I thought to an unfavorable time slot (at least in my area). The other early cancellation that I recall anyway was "Love is a Many Splendored Thing". It had David Birney, Donna Mills and another lady who was Iris, the sister of the DM character, and later was a long running character on another soap. Unfortunately I forget her name as it was not something I watched. From 1967-1973 I was a stay-at-home mom and watched or at least caught parts of many of the daytime dramas.
