Additional Comments: Wonderful book! Loved reading every minute of it especially the time Luke spent with the wolves. (Glorified dogs) Ha-ha. As with Picoult's other books, twists and turns and unexpected ending, so a great read.
Sadly, I lost my female cocker spaniel several weeks ago. She was almost 15 so her time was up but I still miss her a lot. She was such a sweet dog. I still have her brother (litter mate) Jamie, and Sadie, the golden retriever so they keep me busy.
HAPPY EASTER everyone. Janie

Message: Hi Maggie and Barb, Thanks for the condolences and your thoughts about Lone Wolf. I don't come here much anymore since ATWT has gone off. Tonight, I decided to check out B&B just to see what has been happening. Boring! Barb, thank you for the nice thoughts quotation about dogs. I must be nuts but I was really lonely with only two dogs, so just last Sunday, I adopted 2 rescue cocker spaniels, a mother who is three years and her son who is a year. They are the reddish color like my golden, Sadie. Sadie and Jamie, the older cocker are fine with them. They are the sweetest little dogs, very loving and I think grateful to have a happy home again. I find dogs so comforting and am happy to have four of them again. Maggie, I thought Picoult's My Sister's Keeper was a great read but I hated the ending so I made up my own ending. Yes, I remember it very well. I went to Picoult's web site after I read Lone Wolf - it was very interesting. Maybe, I already said that in the original post. Ok, time to get off the computer and have some special time with my ''kids.'' Forgot to mention that I named the mother dog, Emmie Lou and her son Sammy. Sweet things! J.

Message: I listened to Lone Wolf. Got it from Audible as soon as it came out. Enjoyed it, but was not one of my favorite Picoult book. I guess "Sister's Keeper" (can never remember if it was "My" or "Her") would be my favorite. I see that she has written a young adult book with her daughter. And Janie, so sorry about your dog. My daughter has a wheaton terrier who is fourteen, the same age as her twins. That's pretty old for a big dog. I sure hate to think of what will happen when she loses that dog.

Message: Just received my copy of Lone Wolf today from the library. Cannot renew it because there are almost 100 people on the waiting list to read it. Don't think I'll have a problem not finishing it in time!
BTW, sorry about your precious pup-here is something I found online for you--
