ATWT Discussion Group
These are just a few of the popular products that I plan to discontinue using.
Beauty & Grooming: Cover Girl, Head & Shoulders, Ivory, Max Factor, Nice n' Easy, Nioxin, Olay, Pantene, Secret.
Health and Well Being: Crest, Metamucil, Prilosec, Scope, Tampax (don't need anymore, anyway), Vicks and (this one I hate) Pepto Bismol.
Household: Bounce, Bounty, Cascade, Charmin, Cheer, Comet, Downey, Duracell, Febreze, Mr. Clean, Tide.
Store brands will replace many of them, although I strongly suspect P & G manufacturers many of the store brands under contract. No way to know.
There is no way I would give up Secret, Tide, Prilosec, Charmin, Cascade or Vicks. I suppose I could find a brand to replace the Charmin, but none of the others. LOL. I am not upset with P & G. because I am not sure who is to blame for the show being cancelled. I have a feeling that CBS is probably the ones who are to blame and the only show I watched on CBS was ATWT and I am planning on watching Young and Restless when Maura West starts on the show and I believe that is on CBS. It won't be long when everyone will get used to not watching the show and not think anything of it. When Michael Landon died I was devastated. I thought the world had lost the best actor, writer, director that ever lived. I thought my world would never be the same. Well, I miss the good family shows that Michael gave us, but I found out that life does go on and we can always find something to replace our favorites. I can watch reruns of Little house, but even if they had reruns of ATWT I would not watch them. I am getting older and I find I watch TV less and less. Reading a good book, scrap-booking, genealogy and working with my flowers give me much more enjoyment.
Miss Marple, I am sure that it won't be long before you will start using some of your favorite P&G products. I hope you do, after all, they have some pretty good products. :)
