l must admit that I was shocked and aghast when Steffy signed the annulment papers (this was before Liam tore them up!) because her signing them went against what seemed to be her main reason (she had other reasons - about Hope eventually *getting* Liam, etc.) for NOT signing them -- that doing so would make it that the marriage never EXISTED ...
This is what grandma Stephanie said on 5/7 show! Stephanie wondered and questioned Steffy as to why Steffy decided to sign the papers because this would mean that the marriage never existed.
HOWEVER, now I understand why Steffy reversed herself and signed the annulment papers and I'm okay with, lol, the consequence, i.e. making it as if the marriage never existed -- because Steffy explained to Stephanie how annuling their marriage will not stop Liam from loving her, he'll always love her or whatever it was she said about his love for her.
So, if (I'll believe it when everything is signed, sealed, delivered, approved by the court), Steffy/Liam's becomes erased (denied) on paper, this cannot erase/deny Steffy's claim (which I totally believe) that Liam still loves her. (I think she said he'll "always" love her)
Their marriage may ultimately be over, but their (mutual) love won't be.
I'm not sure where I went with all this, lol, because with Liam being the potential ex and potential future husband, but continuing to love both women, having his marriage to Steffy annuled and marrying Hope will only perpetuate the triangle?
