Topic: Sami should have said

Additional Comments:

Sami should have told Will that she loved him, at the beginning of telling her he was gay, during the middle, and at the end.  At least before storming out of the room, she should have been unselfish enough to reassure her son that her unconditional love for him was the number one thought in her mind.

Imagine how Will feels every time Sami says she had the EJ-sexorama because she 'thought her son was dead'.  It's as if Will didn't exist, and that Johnny was the only male child.  If I had been Will, I would have slapped Mama's face every time she talked about her son supposedly being dead.

Message:

Yes, Sami should have taken the time to reassure Will, but as reasons to wish violence against Sami go, her correct usage of "my son" may be the silliest yet.

"I thought my son was dead" does not mean "I thought my only son was dead." Besides, Sami has also said, "I thought Johnny was dead, I thought your brother was dead" etc. She has never implied that she loves one of her children more than another. It doesn't make sense that she had sex in that situation, no matter which child died, but it would have been just as unrealistic if she hadn't been in shock because she had a male child to spare. I don't think Sami values her children according to gender, and I hope you don't either.
