Additional Comments: I found this blind item on one of the soap sites. It sure sounds like they're talking about Days.,....with the current head writers being given the boot and various actors shown the door...AGAIN.
Paging Bobby Ewing: The head writer(s) of this soap—which finds itself once again amid backstage turmoil—pitched a storyline that would basically say the last year's worth of story was all a dream. Yeah, because fans loved it so much when Dallas did that!

Message: Days is constantly changing writing regimes & (jr) EPs. They are always in turmoil because of KC. That is the one, sad, constant. He isn't going to step back or leave the show in someone else's hands anytime soon. He doesn't see his own shortcomings or how he has, singlehandedly, damaged that 'legacy' he always talks about.
The majority of the writers & (jr) EPs he has hired the last several yrs are proven talents w/a lot to offer, but he always has to be the one 'in charge' & that hasn't been working for over 20 yrs! KC is Sr. EP & he is the 'creative decision maker' by his own admission! Days would have been in great hands w/Ed Scott as Sr. EP, but KC acts as though every Jr. EP has no experience & less 'skill' than he has, which is the opposite of the reality!
As in most of the cases w/soaps, overall, many of the writers, directors, EPs & even the actors, would be better off being left alone than being micro-managed at every turn.
