We had 2 guest singers, Demi Lovato, Chris Daughtry. Who is Demi? is she from one of those Disney shows?? Fun song, of course, Chris, is Daughtry and so good!

Groups were called up in groups. Ryan being sneaky made it acted like someone was going home, but stayed.

Well all girls in bottom 3. I swear those teens and tweens call in for those cute boys and we keep getting girls knocked out. (thinking of past seasons also) but I kind of think America was right with Shannon. Though it could of been Heejun if he was in the bottom.

I don't think Elise after hearing her again, should of been in bottom. Erica is good, but her too deep voice, bugs me, LOL.

What do you think, did the right person go home?

I guess no one that popped in said who Demi Lovato was! SO....I looked her up and was in Barney & Friends and Camp Rock, never heard of it.
One interesting thing about her was she said she was bullied in school and requested her mom put her in homeschooling, she has her degree that way. She is involved in anti bullying campaigns. (Good for her!)
It was clear they would not save Shannon because she wasn't going to make it. If they just go by the actual night Heejun should have gone and I was wondering if they would have saved him?!
You can see who is voting just by comparing eliminations and winners over the past few years. Its the biggest complaint I have with Idol. They need to eliminate all the repeated voters by scaling down the voting process. Its still a better show then X Factor was though.

I would hope they would not save Heejun! So Demi was in Barney and friends? Was she one of those cute little kids following Barney around? ~~Bon

I am really happy Heejun made the tour. And I have to root for a homie! He lives in the area of Queens I know very well, Flushing. He is going to lighten the mood and seems very popular with the contestants. I may go to the tour with my two grandkids who love him. They change from week to week, but their love for Heejun is constant. I thought Shannon was boring, way too young, but as I have said before, I always feel bad for the one who goes.

I don't like Elise so much. I did, but now I don't. But I love Erica. I like this group as a whole though. They seem like a really nice group of kids. For me, this show is as much about how the contestants interact and have fun together, and I saw what appeared to be a lot of genuine liking for each other.

Loved seeing Chris Daughtry. Demi Lovato - well, my grandkids knew who she was, I didn't. In fact, before American Idol, I mainly listened to Judy Collins, folk and Broadway music. I guess that is why I loved Adam Lambert so much - I could see him on Broadway.

Jana I agree about Jermaine. And Elise is much better than Erica. Bonk I don't like her voice either. Hejun or whatever his name is was boring. He might want to consider comedy.

I just hate when female singers try to go so deep and male singers go way to high. Elise looked very surprised she was in bottom 3. ~Bon

IMO, yes, Shannon should have been the one to go this week. However, I agree with you that now, Erica should go before Elise does. Does anyone else get the feeling the judges know exactly who they are going to save if the need arises? They may have tried to look like they were discussing saving Shannon but they chearly had no intention of doing so.

After the whole hooplah with Jermaine I am getting disgusted with the show. I will just never be convinced the whole thing wasn't a big publicity thing, starting with the save. You can't even get a job at McDonald's today without a drug test and complete background check. They have to have SS #'s for those top twelve so there is no way they didn't know about his arrests from the beginning.

I think every time this kind of news comes out, they look like a bunch of schmucks. Unless they figure any publicity is good publicity...eom (ML)
