Topic: Questions about the character Alexis Davis (Help Needed)

As a returning viewer to GH, I have a few questions about Alexis Davis. I have to say I thoroughly enjoy Alexis. She is witty, smart and has a certain air of mystery about her. She reminds me (a little) of Nora Buchanan from our late beloved show OLTL.  Both were defense attorneys and maybe DA's at one time or another. Although, there are several differences I see between these two characters.  I like Alexis's quirky yet approachable vibe. Ok here goes the questions.

Was It ever detemined if Alexis was related to the Cassadines. I remember from watching sporadically back in the day, that Alexis believed she may have been fathered by a Cassadine. Was it Mikos? Was this plot point ever resolved? Who is Alexis's father?

Has Alexis ever been married to any of her babby daddys? I know she married Ric, which is Sonny's half-brother. Was he father to one of Alexis's daughters?

Did Alexis give birth to any of her daughters in a non-perilous situation? In other words, did Alexis ever give birth to any of her daughters at GH under the care of doctors and sterile conditions? I know this one is an odd question but it has been rolling around my mind sometime now.

Finally, Last question.

 Did Alexis ever have or fake having a personality disorder (DID)? I remember reading some time back Alexis appeared to suffer from DID, just like Connie/Kate. I think it may have occurred around the time Alcazar was killed (or presumed dead at least). Was it a ploy to protect the alleged killer from going to prison? Did they ever resolve this DID plot?

Did Alexis marry any of her babies' daddies?
Yes. She married Ric who is Molly's father. Alexis and Ric started well, funny, good report, but he turned out to be your average psycho, related to Sonny and prone to occasional lapses in good sense. When he slept with step -daughter Sam one dreadful night, that about summed him up.
Sam--no father has surfaced or been identified. And actually, no DNA ever established the true parenthood of Alexis. As for Kristina, she was the result of a ONS with Sonny. Sonny couldn't resist seducing Alexis because he could make her nervous and giddy and it amused him. She was horrified to discover she was pregnant and lied it was Ned's. And all of her girls were born in hospitals as far as I recall.

Did Alexis ever have or fake having a personality disorder (DID)?
Alexis faked amnesia when she pushed Alcazar off the balcony when he was coming at her with a knife. Not sure why she didn't plead self-defense, because it surely was, But she went there angry enough to kill him so when it happened, maybe she thought she would never be believed.

Alexis and Luke tried to do away with Helena once long ago, but failed. They loosened some railing on a balcony at Windimere, but Katharine Bell took the fall instead. Stefan was involved with Katharine.

Molly was delivered by Robin Scorpio in a tunnel at the site of a major train wreck. Just prior to his death, Luis left Alexis stranded in the snow in premature labor, so Alexis knew that no jury would buy that she arrived at Luis' apartment with a weapon but had no intent to kill him. //SqueezeMe

I was on vacation when that whole Alexis/Luis thing happened. Are we sure Alexis brought a weapon to Luis' room? Wasn't he the one with the knife? ladfan

Actually, I'm wrong about that. I think Brenda left the knife there -- remember, she and Jason were originally accused of the murder. //SqueezeMe

Nancy has had to do some regrettable stories and the Luis thing was one I disliked and I tend to forget all details of stories I dislike. lol. Sorry. I also disliked the big train wreck sweeps gimmick. GHFan

Thanks everyone for the wealth of info regarding Alexis Davis! I really enjoy Nancy Lee Grahn's performance and I think she rocks her scenes.  I didn't mean to pick anyone's brain but these questions perplexed me. Yes, Helena I will google Alexis as well. See what gems I may find, when I find the time of course. I appreciate everyone's help here. =-)

I loved ALexis/NLG in these scenes. I know everyone looked young back then, but I can't get over how young and skinny Steve Burton was, it seems like he has doubled in size now. ladfan

Thank you so much for posting that scene !! Not being a veteran viewer of GH, I have watched many old videos from times gone by. THIS ONE...is exceptional to emphasise the LOSS of NLG in a starring role.!! Everyone should see this ! And she is right.. Sonny will never pay ! . I am curious of the year?? Alexis was superb in these scenes, but wonder why they dressed her in red??? ~~ katybelle

The color red is used to draw attention. It also has a lot of other meanings and it's quite interesting to read them. I always thought it meant power but apparently it symbolizes a lot more. izi

Ha, Alexis ancesters' employed Sonny's in the field! So who did plant the bomb that killed Kristina - I'm sure somehow Sonny's hands were clean. Alexis came to forgive Jason apparenly also, her future SIL. Maddie

These were great scenes at the time,but the whole thing is so redundant. It is all still doing on today. Nothing has changed and That is exactly why so many have stopped watching. Alexis did nothing, and again she is Sonny's lawyer. I know NLG needs her job,but wouldn't you think someone in this town would learn their lesson? Did anyone win? only the mobsters. Liz still thinks Jason and Sonny are god. Ned, Roy, Jax Alan are all gone and Sonny is still there? I remember this,but Alexis never learned her lesson, and those of you who have just come on board,welcome to the mobsters are us. . You should see Alexis in the hospital corridor when Baby Kristina was dying begging Sonny to save her,and he couldn't be bothered. Finally when Sam lost their baby,he gave her the umbilical cord blood to save her.But not until Alexis did her groveling in the hallway. This is a lot of the reason I just hate Sonny,

Kristina died in a warehouse bomb set by Luis and meant for Sonny. //SqueezeMe

How many people have died or at least been shot at because of Sonny? I wonder if anyone has a count. Someone should set his hair on fire. Helena

Alexis is Mikos’ daughter and her mother was an opera singer named Kristine (hence Krisina her daughter fathered by Sonny). Alexis and Sonny ever married.

Later, Alexis got pregnant by Ric and married him and had Molly.

Can’t remember the births very well but since there is no such thing as a normal birth in soaps I would say neither were non perilous.

Alexis killed Luis Alkazar in self-defense and used DID as her defense.

If you want to know more about Alexis I suggest googling her as there’s a treasure trove of history on the internet about her.

It's a minor note, but Kristina Corinthos-Davis was named after Alexis' dead sister, Kristina Cassadine who, like Alexis, was also the daughter of Mikkos and Kristin Bergman. //SqueezeMe

Thank you SM, you're correct. Alexis' mother was named Kristin Bergman, who Kristina I was named after. Kristina II was named after Kristina I. Helena

Another minor correction, Alexis and Ric were married for a few months before she got pregnant with Molly. They got married when Kristina was sick, and Sonny found out that he was her father. ladfan

Squeeze, I do remember that Alexis was pretending to be Dobson, the butler, so that she could be near her daughter, Kristina. I am not clear on why Kristina was living with the Qs. Did they think that Ned was her father? Do you remember the reasons? I know that I really started to dislike Alexis when she ran out on Ned, and once she ''slept'' with Sonny, she became just one more stupid, GH female. dd

dd, at the time of Alexis' trial, Ned was still believed to be Kristina's father. If I remember correctly, Alexis lost custody at the trial and Ned got Kristina. Of course, all I remember about that period is Alexis dressing up as Dobson. ladfan

Hey, ladfan, that makes sense to me. I have been watching this show forever, and I remember more than I should. Still, some stuff gets fuzzy after a while. Even though I liked Ted King, I really hope they do not bring him on as Tomas, I hate that name. Maybe he could be a long-lost third Alcazar brother.dd

dd, I believe it is a safe bet that Tomas is No-mas :-) As far as I know there are no rumors of Tomas coming to GH. ladfan

I do like Todd, so he will be welcomed....by me. Other than Asa, I didn't really like the OLTL characters. Starr was pretty cool, as a kid, but she sucks now. dd

I like Todd too. I also like McBain. I don't care about Starr either. ladfan

McBain does seem more likable on GH, than he was on OL. I hated him on PC, and I so do not want any past life with Sam crap. dd

dd, yes Alexis became Dobson, the Qs' butler, to be near Kristina. During that time, Alexis was supposed to be under psychiatric care to atone for her murder of Alcazar, but she blew her therapist off and spent her time trying to undermine Ned and Skye who, thanks to Alexis claiming Ned was the baby's father, had custody of Kristina. Alexis had Ned set up and charged with (statutory?) rape as part of her custody battle to win back Kristina. If Alexis hadn't been dead to me the day she left Ned at the altar, that SL did it for me, and I still think she sucks. In case anyone was wondering. :o) //SqueezeMe

SM, I vaguely remember the custody battle and setting Ned up part, was Stefan still on the show at the time? ladfan

If memory serves, I believe Stefan aided and abetted Alexis in her setup of Ned. //SqueezeMe

SM, about why she and Ric married. Now I remember. He was as appalled as Alexis that Sonny was the spermfather. I can't wait for Ric to return. Helena

I almost lost my liking for both ned and Skye during those days but poor NLG was having to deal with ridiculous writing, Alexis being off the wall, so part of me understood why Ned went that route. Helena
