By the way if you all want a place to hang out other than here now that oltl is gone, come on over to the board I have had for almost 2 years now.  Its only a few of us but we have had a OLTL discussion thread going for the whole time which you can look at and review.  You can chat with other members if you want, post pictures and smiley's send private messages to each other and post in other topic threads besides soaps.  Its totally drama free, I am the administrator.  Give it a try, you just have to register thats it!  Registration is at the top of the log in page. Hope to see some of you soon!

Her only other tv acting credit in the past 40 years is some Danielle Steel made-for-tv movie from the mid-1990's.  She will probably either retire or do stage work.

As one of the other posters said, her choices are likely limited.

Look at her on the View. And even on OLTL. She blinks inappropriately and definitely has something neurologically wrong.

That's an acting technique she utilizes! It is not a tick or neurological issue! Ms. Slezak is conveying her emotions through that look. She is not having a mini-stroke or anything like that. Erika had back surgery about 2 years ago to correct an issue that was causing her discomfort. That's all! It was fixed and the treatment was successful. There is no physical disability of any kind on this woman. Leave Erika alone, please. Just because she is a woman of a certain age that doesn't make her any less viable or in demand. If Betty White, who is over 25 years older than Erika can still get primetime work in popular tv sitcoms, than Ms. Slezak most certainly can! Erika is a six time Emmy award winner who can land a decent gig, if she wants! Stop trying to stir up trouble and make false allegations about this most talented actress. You people are just trolls trying your hardest to stir the pot and cast dispersion on hard-working talented actors. You have no right to do this. Grow up! Leave this board and go peddle your hatred and gossip mongering somewhere else!

Betty White is 90 and she's in great demand. Erika is fantastic actress with tons of good experience and a devoted fan base. She is not physically disabled in any way. Why shouldn't she continue to act in film, TV, stage, etc.? /SheilaT

I would hire her in an instant. Erika is a fine actress and a lady who is such a class act many take a back seat to her. I agree Troll go to the Guiding Light board lots of people there would like your comments.

Why would you ask such a senseless question? I would love to hire her but DUH! I'm not in show biz and have nothing to offer her. But I would love to see her in any TV show or movie, and even travel a bit to see her on the stage. /SheilaT
