Because of my business, I dread seeing any upcoming Friday the 13th dates.  It is almost impossible to book a wedding or any event for that matter.  It's funny...many of the brides won't have a wedding on ANY day if it's the 13th because they don't ever want their anniversary to be on Friday the 13th!

Are you superstitious? Have you ever had anything unusual happen on this day? Do you do anything different on this day than any other day?

I am not superstitious, but I feel like I am extra cautious just in case. LOL

I'm not a superstitious person, but I do enjoy acting like I am or teasing other people about things that happen that are connected with superstitions.

    I've always thought Friday 13 was lucky for me...  My baby son was born on Friday 13, my first granddaughter was born on the 13th...

    Jeff and I were married on the 13th of the month...it was a Saturday, but our anniversary has been on Friday the 13th about five times. I love it!

    My first reaction was ''oh kerap, we're driving to OK today'' but then I remembered I didn't believe in the bad luck on friday the 13th.   We'll see though because I plan to stop by the casino for awhile.   :-)    

    I don't think I would PLAN a wedding for that date either though.   So are you just home eating bonbons today thanks to the superstitions.    Heh

  • No, I was working all day. Hope you do great at the casino!
  • I did great at the casino playing on THEIR money. Although I only won $15-20 because I was trying to get rich. But at least I didn't lose any. That's what I've done the last 5-6 times I've gone (made sure I didn't lose any.) Gotta love having an hour or two of fun and getting paid a little bit for it. :-D Gail
  • Anytime you can get out ahead, that's a win/win as far as I'm concerned. And if you make enough to cover dinner, that's a jackpot! LOL...buzzed
