Additional Comments: escape from the asylum? I know he helped her get out and then he disguised her as a nun and gave her a bunch of money to leave.

Adam is as guilty this time as Victor was when he first brought Patty to town.

This was before Adam became popular with a segment of viewers. He was pretty much an out and out villain and capable of anything.

From my recall, it looked like Patti was recovering some sanity and realizing that she had not killed Hightower, so Adam who was able to crawl through the ducts into the room and 'gas-lighting' her, decided instead to set her free.

Gas-lighting mentally unstable females, seemed to be Adam's modus operandi then.

Of course, TPTB left a lot of loose strings and have never definitively said who killed Hightower and IF it was Patti would Adam free her.

Thank you. I rememebr Adam going through the duct work and all of that, but just didn't remember his motive. So it was more of letting her go so she coldn't tell on anything Adam may have done.

Thank you for the reminder. He deserves what he got. Wouldnt it be divine justice if they went back and nailed him for that murder and found out what he did to patty when he gaslighted her, first Ashley and his family and then patty. She was doing well till he did that to her. It seems he is always provoking providing false information to everyone working them against eachother though they have no clue.

He took advantage of her because no one believed her. She was vulnerable and knowing which triggers to push. I dont agree with Patty and her methods in fact i dont even like to watch the scenes with her. But Adam he is ruthless and plans his acts methodically and with a grin. The worst thing Sharon did; was to forgive him because he betrayed her again.
