Additional Comments:
After leaving Daisy in the apartment, Phyllis became even more noxious and belligerent than usual.
When Nick came to meet Phyllis on the patio, she said in an antagonistic voice, "I screamed at three drivers on the way here, a couple of pedestrians, and two dogs, okay, I'm out of my mind right now, I'm so hormonal, I'm freaking out, I'm FREAKING OUT!" she blared.
When Nick attempted to quiet her down with a bouquet, she proclaimed, "I can do what I WANT. Give those flowers to someone nice, okay, give them to someone who isn't insane because I'm deeply insane right now and, you know, apparently my son is too because he MARRIED DAISY CARTER, he MARRIED HER!"
"Can you get me a brownie," she smirked, abruptly switching moods. "Like, a massive brownie, with whipped cream and chocolate sauce . . . no, raspberry sauce."
After a few more demented repetitions, she let it go just as Daisy came in, looking for Daniel. Phyllis then raised her voice even higher, bawling, "DON'T THREATEN ME!" and engaging in still further repeats.
Then, who but Christine should sashay past, causing Phyllis to bray even louder: "Oh, wow, look, CHRISTINE is back in town. SUPER SUPER nice to see you."
"How convincing," Christine observed, "and . . . so sincere."
"I'm off my game today. Next time I'll add another SUPER," the whackjob added garishly.
"You do that," simpered Christine, walking off.
"I'll look after you too, bitch," the hidoues creature grunted.
Phyllis is often unbearable to watch, but this day was truly a standout.

Message: lol, I was like really, you think its the hormones?! maybe she's finding an excuse to let go of the modicum of self-control she possesses because she's pregnant, she doesn't have to hide it anymore ;-) That was a terrible scene, .. and IMO Michelle acted it very strangely too. She just came off like a whack job

Perfectly recapped, of course. Bravo!
Honestly, this horrible bitch can bring me down quicker than any character ever has since I started watching television.
I have to say this episode was definitely in the top 3 of Most Intolerable Moments of Phyllis. However, my #1 episode still has to be any of those where we were listening to her narrate her blog or whatever that piece of crap was. I think I heard the Kill Bill theme song in my head when THAT travesty aired.
The few decent qualities Nick may have ever had are completey gone now. I can't even remember them. They've been erased by the endless loop we've all had to suffer of Phyllis doing him on various desks throughout GC. *gag*

Message: Sheesh, I wanted to hurl something at the TV! Nobody acts like that, preggers or not! Phyllis just loves that work FREAK in all it's forms (freak, freaky, bunch of freaks, freaking out)! Again, she's the one who is a freak!
Nick should have thrown the flowers at her and left. He's in for a tough 9 months if she's really going to have this baby. Although I can't stand him, he's really trying to be good to her, obnoxious as she is.

Message: I've given birth to several children. I admit all pregnancies are not alike, even my three were different from each other. What hormones is she talking about? It seems to me she was just freaking out because she's not getting her way. Well, Nick made his choice choosing her.

Message: That Phillis is one weird woman, she is scarier than Ricky, in fact they are a lot alike. If Phillis had any brains she would stop acting like a freak and calm down and make Daisy think she is on her side, be nice to her and maybe she will come around. Of course Daisy is smarter than Phillis and would probably see right through her. If Nick wasn't in a half coma all the time he might see the real Phyllis and hit the road.

Message: Do women Phyllis' age get more "hormonal" when they're pregnant? I have three children (but I wasn't as old as Phyllis when I had them) and I don't remember acting like she acts. But maybe she's acting this way because that's the way she IS? LOL. She's always been spastic and annoying and irritating to watch IMO. Now she's just blaming it on "hormones". She acts more like she's going through menopause than pregnancy. I still think that should have been the story for her, but what do I know? I guess they can't write that for her because she would have to admit her age and start acting like it. LOL

Message: Her outburst on the Crimson Light's patio today was just ridiculous. My son was in his bedroom and heard it on the TV in the kitchen, walked out and said "shut her up!" I couldn't help but laugh!!

Message: I always wonder how Nick can stand Red's constant yapping. Doesn't he ever want to grab a set of earplugs? I know if I were like Phyllis my husband would find reasons to be OUT every night. LOL.

Message: The sooner Ricky takes down that heinous bitch, the better. I was enjoying a nice little snooze on the couch (with the volume down quite low) when I was rudely awakened hearing that bitch screech 'I can do whatever I want!' and the constant freaking repetitions. I HATE HER.

Message: Phyllis was off the hook today. She certainly wasted no time making nice with Christine. None of that. Went right for the jugular with everyone!

Message: It has got to be Red's worst scene eva. I wanted to hurl, between her repetitions and her hormonally induced banter. I posted a similar post up the board but you described it much better. It was revolting.
