Naturally Jack met up with Ghost John in his excursion into the afterlife.
"Dad, am I dead?" Jack asked Ghost John.
I couldn't stop snickering.
Ghost John convinced Jack to row himself back to life.
Oars? Rowing? I've never heard of either in relation to a near-death experience.

Well it's logical that Jack be rowing in a boat with his father..his soul on the "Otherside" for whatever time it took for the doctors to shock him back...makes sence to me.
(His body all drugged up and floating..in a hospital..hovering between life and death..body trauma, not knowing if he's living or knocking on deaths' door. Jack had no idea if he would stay "Dead" or comeback to the living..he was confused.)
Joe H, hahaha I literally had this conversation with my husband last night when I was watching the first Jack & Ghost John scene:
Him: (spotting two dudes in a boat, mist swirling) Who is that?
Me: Jack and his father.
Him: I thought his father was dead.
Me: He is. That's a ghost.
Him: When did he die?
Me: A few years ago.
Him: Is Jack dead too now?
Me: He just flat lined.
Him: Why are they in a boat?
Me: I have no idea.
Keep in mind, we had this conversation in a completely normal way, as if talking about the weather. He knows I've watched this since the late 1970s and I really have no choice in the matter anymore LOL and don't even feel compelled to explain the ridiculousness of it. Hence, this conversation.
Happy Thursday, all. :-)

Maybe Jack was on the River Styx. In Greek and Roman mythology, that's the way into hell. No wonder Ghost John told him to go home. LOL
A virtual River Styx: (I have no idea what this is, a game or what) http://www.riverstyx.com/#beach
