Additional Comments: I didn't like her when she first came on the show but now I love Gen!!
I'm not saying that I would want to be her friend in real life but as a character on Y and R she is now very interesting.
I see a Victor/Nikki/Jack/Genevieve quadrangle forming and I actually think this one could be interesting. I liked Jack with Gen but I also always liked Jack with Nikki. I hate Victor with anybody but this could be interesting.

Message: I could tolerate her when she was the only helpless blonde on the show. However Nikki is back so now when I watch, I'm stuck with two helpless blondes who both seem to enjoy Victors company.
Shoot me now.

Message: I have never like the actress who plays her and I still don't think they needed her at all in this show. I was hoping she was temporary.

Message: I like her too! It was kind of sickening that Jack found out he may never walk after he was shot by his ex-loon on his wedding day and instead of taking all that in, he's more concerned with BON. I think or wish the explanation was that Gen told her agent to bid on it regardless the amount before she and Jack got so involved...then it could have been "Jack, it was put in motion before you and I got together"...then she could have said, "I was going to give it to you as a wedding gift, but I want to be in charge of this division"...ANYTHING other than her being in the hot seat over this. It wouldn't have mattered who bought it, Jack would still be whining about how he failed his father...the fact that it was Gen just makes it worse. He has a right to feel betrayed but this crap shouldn't take his priority concern, as well as his friends and family's, rather it should be about what just happened. And what if Patty HAD hurt Gen or locked her in a room somewhere...would that have made a difference? I just don't like how this was written. Gen is not the evil bitch that they are now making her. (IMO)

Message: I love Gen, too. I don't see her as a sneak. No one else would call any business woman in the world a sneak. think Gen is just more accomplished business-wise than anyone gave her credit for. Too bad Jack doesn't recognize in Gen and think's it's all about him. Jack wanted a woman who would stay barefoot and possibly pregnant in the kitchen. Or someone as immaute as Patty.

Message: The character of Gen is quite a piece of work. She has no understanding of the work ''betrayal''. Jack told her how much he was bidding and she took it and used it for her own selfish reasons. She has to be dense not to see it as a be-trayal. She wanted it for herself as a sense of power. It would be hers. She loved that certainly more than she loved Jack. the sneakiness of knowing what Jack was bidding and then topping it is such a betrayal how could she not see it that way? She knew how much he wanted it. If a person really loves someone how could someone do what she did to Jack. Her ex would be proud of her. What a sneak she is.

Message: Thankfully, TPTB realized their mistake in making this character an over-the-top, scenery-chewing villainess and reversed course, so we are finally seeing the Genie Francis that GH fans rave about. And I think she's great!
