Additional Comments: Ok, with all the negative talk about y and r and soaps in general, here's what I like about y and r. Add your thoughts if you like:
1) The cast! Including PB, ED, JW, BM, MS, MTS
2) Some new characters bringing vet actors from other soaps: GF as Genevieve and DM as YoHarmony
3) I like the Beauty of Nature storyline
4) I liked seeing Patty and Paul and Todd together
5) I like Victoria and Billy together
6) I love all the redheads, Phyllis and Lauren
7) I liked recently seeing all the Abbotts including John and Tracy
8) I like the show's themesong and opening (even though it could be updated)
9) NOt sure why, but I like Adam and Sharon
10) I like evil Ricky

I like seeing the Abbotts front and center. I love the renewed focus on the Winters even though for some reason they are generally not allowed to interact with the rest of the characters on the show...and are confined to Wednesdays. I love that Neil finally has a bio child of his own after 20+ years on the show and is not reduced to merely propping vapid Lily.
I really love having a favorite couple to tune in and root for-Sharon and Adam!

I grudgingly admit that I liked seeing Nikki and Victor together. MTS can be a beautiful woman, and she really was that day.
There is very good acting from Peter Bergman and Genie Francis. Excellent acting from PB.
I liked that Victor arranged for a specialist for Adam and for Sharon to take him to Hope's farm. That showed a vulnerable side of Victor for one of his children.
I like that there is a softer side of Phyllis that appears every so often-especially now. She doesn't just hop into bed with Nick. And she doesn't choose to print every story that crosses her desk now-I like that.
I like what they have done with the character of Gen.
I love Adam, and regret that they had a loon throw some chemicals in his eyes, but this means we'll have some very good acting from MM.
Can Lily talk about anything but the baybees? Sorry; I can't resist. LOL
