Additional Comments: I apologize if someone already posted this, but I don't recall learning why Adam helped bring this obviously insane and dangerous woman back to GC. Can anyone enlighten me?

Well, the chickens will come home to roost for Adam ... because Patty told Ricky that her saviour helped her to escape from the institution and how he did it... that the saviour's name was ............ Adam Newman!!!!! Of course, Patty could be dismissed as being delusional.

If Ricky is as driven to be successful as he appears, then he will follow up and find out if any of the facts Patty revealed had any basis in reality!!!! I cannot wait!!!! Because Adam broke the law!!!

As I recall, Adam helped Patty escape the institutional prison, because she was beginning to waver on her confession that she was the one who had killed Richard Hightower at The Masquerade Ball (thinking that she was killing Adam). Adam felt that if Patty did this, then the police would immediately cast their gaze in his direction and try to pin Richard's murder on him. So in effect, helping Patty flee was a pre-emptive move.
