Last at Dr. Brown, gyn, August 18th I had biopsy showing cancer....so off I go to, have pre-testing for surgery,at Dr. Riddell, cardio. He says doppler carotid artery...and sends results to surgeon Dr. Smith... who orders ct-scan. Oct 5th, I have surgery on carotid artery.
I get clearance for surgery from DRs Riddell and Smith.....so Dr. Brown says ''high risk'' and suggests Robotic surgeon in Indianapolis.
Tomorrow will be my 3rd trip to Dr. Moore at St. Francis in Indy for my surgery, finally. With luck, I should be home Friday! (prayers here)
Thanks to all the support from you guys! Much appreciated.
Imagine, over 4 months! Dr. Moore thinks the cancer doesn't seem to be a angry fast growing kind. (prayer here)
See you when I see you.....so play nice while I'm gone 'cause I want to talk about Newt, Mitt, and the Iowa primary when I get back......

Yes, things have gotten boring on MD boards lately. A good, old fashioned political fight would be welcome and we NEED you back to 'moderate'. LOL Remember the good old days of MD being taken down because of the 'heat'?

I'm late in reading this, but my thoughts and prayers for you have been ever present. It's great to learn Dr. Moore thinks it doesn't seem to be a fast growing kind. Very encouraging. We'll ''see'' you when you get back, Kate. Good luck and speedy healing!
