You will fall in love with Puerto Rico.  The people are so warm and friendly.  The food is fantasstic.  El Yunque is wonderous and, of course, great beaches.  I am thrilled you get to take this trip.

Lucky you! It is always this time of year when I start thinking about nice warm tropical places to visit. Puerto Rico is up there on my list of places to visit in the Caribbean. Enjoy!

CG, that's great! I went to PR in 2007 and had a chance to spend a day in Old San Juan. Make sure you stop by there- great architecture and check out the fort. Hubby and I also went on a tour of the Bacardi rum factory- wasn't really my thing since I'm not a drinker. We also visited an African History musuem in Old San Juan, which was amazing - learned a lot about the slavery history in PR.
Btw, remember to try the pollo y arroz with the sweet plantains. Yummy!
Have a great time and take lots of pix!
