Additional Comments: All the decorations for Christmas are put away , the house seems drab and empty ! I put a sparkly heart on my front door. Does anyone else decorate for Valentine Day ? Love those window clings , my 3 1/2 yr old grand daughter loves to put them on.

I've been to a mall where Valentine's Day stuff goes up the week after New Year's
Day. So they are probably already up at Fair Oaks Mall.
I don't get my valentines until a week before VDay.

Message: I decorate each holiday but wait until the first of the month so, Feb. 1st. will be Valentine's Day here. I still have my Christmas decorations up but since most of mine are wintery I only have to put away Christmas stuff.

February 1st... I don't like decorating too far in advance of the holiday, ie, nothing Christmas until December 1st. Due to birthday celebrations during the new year's weekend, I always undecorate the first weekend following, so that will be this weekend, the 7th to be exact.
I may put up the snowflake flag, some linens... but Valentines must wait until February... then St. Patricks on March 1st... I hate when St. Patricks and Easter is close together, ruins everything...
I love decorating for seaons and holidays!

Like PEridot, I don't decorate for St. Valentine's Day. I did notice the SVD merchandise being put out, on Walgreen's shelves, 01/01.
Although I seem to remember the same merchandise lurking on the upper shelves around Christmas time.

Message: I've never decorated for Valentine's Day. Any valentines we get go on the mantel for a week or so and that's about it. A lot of my decorations are wintry rather than Christmas-y so I leave them up all season long.
